The OFK-8000 features a cordless, rechargeable inspection lamp with eight Quik-Connect™ interchangeable LED heads offering even greater versatility in crime-scene investigation, gathering of potential evidence and forensic laboratory work.
The eight LED lamp heads provide single-wavelength illumination in UV-A, violet, blue, green, cyan, amber, red and white light. This new kit is an improved version of the OFK-7000 inspection kit, which only included seven LEDs. The OFK-8000 now includes a violet LED lamp head, which is used to detect untreated blood absorption.
The lightweight inspection lamp (only 15 oz) is engineered with a rugged, corrosion-resistant aluminum body that stands up to heavy use in the field and laboratory. Powered by a NiMH battery, the lamp provides 90 minutes of continuous inspection between charges. The built-in Electronic Intensity Stabilizer ensures consistent performance and will not weaken between charges.
The OFK-8000 also includes three contrast filters, smart AC and DC chargers, four pairs of spectacles and a detachable diffusing filter used for forensic photograpy. All components are packed in a padded carrying case
